Fiduciary Trust Company International Makes Senior Promotion, Two New Hires

New York-headquartered Fiduciary Trust Company International has promoted Carin Leong Pai to executive vice president and director of equity management, while also making two senior hires.

Pai has been with the firm since 1996 and now oversees its team of equity portfolio managers while managing client portfolios. She is a member of the firm’s asset allocation committee, as well as a member of the management, officers’ executive, and risk management committees. 

Amy Kong has joined the firm as managing director and senior portfolio manager of equity management, responsible for managing equity portfolios for individuals, families and institutions.

Kong was previously a senior portfolio manager at US Trust, where she managed and co-managed 350 portfolios with assets of $1.1 billion. Kong began her career as an analyst for the credit research and analysis department at Moody’s Investors Services.

Meanwhile, Janet Nettleton Otto joins as managing director and relationship manager.

Otto has around 30 years of industry experience, including in the areas of corporate lending and private banking, as well as asset and wealth management for high net worth individuals, families and institutional clients.

Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust, Otto served as principal and business development executive at Legg Mason Investment Counsel, having previously been a private banker at JP Morgan, and portfolio manager and business development officer at US Trust.
